Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking an Systems Integration & Test Engineer to support the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) program in Colorado Springs. The role focuses on software-intensive integration and verification, developing test plans, procedures, and reports alongside multi-discipline teams.

You will verify requirements, maintain traceability, and contribute to automated testing and CI practices while supporting customer acceptance testing and program milestones.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems/Software/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field with minimum 5 years’ experience; master’s degree with 3 years or PhD with 1 year acceptable.
  • Experience developing requirements verification procedures for software-intensive systems.
  • Experience executing formal system or software verification testing.
  • Experience developing test documentation including test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Experience supporting system integration and troubleshooting activities.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and verification methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, including CONUS and international locations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute system integration and test activities for software and hardware verification.
  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and verification reports.
  • Develop verification procedures to support customer acceptance testing.
  • Support subsystem and system integration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Verify system performance against requirements and document results.
  • Maintain requirements traceability and verification documentation.
  • Review engineering documentation to ensure test methodologies are complete and aligned with objectives.
  • Participate in integration planning, test readiness reviews, and formal test events.
  • Develop integration scenarios and verification strategies for software and hardware components.
  • Analyze test results, document discrepancies, and coordinate with engineers to resolve issues.
  • Contribute to automated test capabilities and CI practices.
  • Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate across IPTs and support program milestones.
  • Provide technical updates to program leadership.
