Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior Software Developer to support the DARC2 program in Colorado Springs, CO. You will develop, integrate, test, and troubleshoot mission software for a ground-based radar system and participate in Mission Transfer across multiple sites.

The role requires expertise in C++, Python, and Java, with experience in Linux/RHEL and distributed software systems. You will collaborate with radar, systems, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure mission continuity and high

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of software development experience.
Active U.S. Government Secret clearance.
Proficient in C++, Python, and Java.
Experience with Linux/RHEL environments.
Experience with distributed software systems and testing.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, and maintain software for DARC2 radar capabilities.
Develop software supporting Mission Transfer and continuity of space-object tracking between DARC sites.
Develop and maintain mission software in C++, Python, and Java within a distributed environment.
Support radar tracking, track-data processing, sensor coordination, and data exchange between sites.
Analyze architectures, interfaces, algorithms, data structures, and system data flows.
Develop interfaces for reliable exchange of tracking and mission data between distributed systems.
