Job summary

Raytheon Technologies, Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center, is seeking a motivated Principal System Integration & Test Engineer to support radar capability development. Join a team applying Linux-based environments, hardware/software testing in lab settings, and strong troubleshooting to advance radar systems.

This role is on-site in the United States, with potential 5% domestic travel and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Shell scripting, Linux/Unix.
• Experience with hardware and/or software testing in an engineering lab environment.
• Experience with networking principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing, and documenting system integration and test activities for a radar program in a laboratory environment.
• Perform hands-on testing and integration of hardware and software, focusing on Linux-based environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues related to software, hardware, and operating systems under guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to identify and address technical challenges.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and reports per program requirements.
• Support system-level test readiness reviews, test execution, and post-test analysis.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards and program processes.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 5%.
