Job summary

Raytheon in the United States seeks a Senior Hardware Integration, Analysis & Test Engineer to join the REPA group, sitting at the intersection of radar hardware, firmware, software, and signal processing. You’ll contribute to a cross-disciplinary ITS team supporting several radar programs across multiple bands.

You will write tests, analyze RF/IQ data, and build tools to accelerate defect resolution while collaborating with hardware designers, firmware, and systems engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years’ prior relevant experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in two or more areas: radar integration/verification, MATLAB or C/C++, microwave/RF design or test.

Responsibilities

• Write, use, and maintain software that controls, tests, and characterizes real radar hardware—from module level to system integration.
• Investigate RF and IQ data to identify root causes of hard problems with high stakes.
• Perform Receiver/Exciter hardware, software, and firmware verification across multiple radar bands and programs.
• Build data analysis tools to speed up engineering decisions; evaluate AI/ML tools to assist with heavy lifting.
• Collaborate with hardware designers, firmware developers, software and systems engineers across four domains.
• Hands-on hardware testing and troubleshooting.
• Own and maintain your work, sharing knowledge with others.
• Operate across Raytheon sites and interface with program engineering, production, and systems teams.
• This first-shift, on-site role is based in Tewksbury, MA, with travel to Marlborough, MA.
