Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior RADAR Field Engineer to support Advanced Surveillance Systems in the NCR from Andrews AFB, MD. This remote role requires travel as needed and security clearance eligibility. You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radar systems, prepare logs, and collaborate with multi-disciplined teams across the region.

Experience with radar software and test procedures, plus strong written communication, are essential to success in this high-impact role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance required.
• Experience operating, maintaining or troubleshooting radar systems or similar surveillance equipment.
• Experience with radar software operations and test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and maintain radar/ surveillance systems at designated sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and on-call response as needed.
• Maintain logs, travel as required, and report data trends for publications.
• Coordinate with field teams across NCR and CONUS travel as needed.
