Job summary

Castelion Corporation seeks a Senior Radar Algorithm Engineer to develop and deploy advanced air-to-air radar algorithms. You will own the full lifecycle from concept through production-ready implementation, validation, and integration into hardware systems.

The role requires strong signal processing skills, experience with radar modes, and production-grade Python or Rust code in a controlled software engineering environment. This on-site position offers significant ownership and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
• Direct experience with air-to-air radar systems and associated algorithms.
• Strong background in signal processing, detection, tracking, and radar modes.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Rust with production-quality code.
• Experience operating in a disciplined software engineering environment (Git, code reviews, testing, Jira).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of air-to-air radar algorithms—from concept through production, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Design, implement, and validate radar mode logic in Python or Rust for production use.
• Develop and execute verification and validation plans across simulation, chamber testing, and live-fire scenarios.
• Operate within a disciplined software engineering environment with version control and CI/CD pipelines.
