Qualifications

  • Electrical Engineering fundamentals, typically a B.S. in a related discipline
  • 8+ years of professional hands-on experience with radar algorithms, radar system design, signal processing, integration and test
  • Ability to use C++, MATLAB and Python (Python preferred)
  • Ability to troubleshoot, find root cause, and resolve issues
  • Pulsed and FMCW processing algorithm development
  • Experience in airborne radar testing and development

Responsibilities

  • Analyze phased array radar systems and develop radar processing algorithms for short/long-range tracking and radar image generation
  • Design algorithms in Matlab/Python and implement in C++ on target hardware
  • Drive system-level requirements and perform trade studies with cross-functional teams
  • Support radar integration on aircraft and assist data collection during flight testing
  • Own real-time processing of radar algorithms on FPGA/DSP platforms
