Job summary

Reliable Robotics is seeking a Radar Algorithms Engineer to join our Radar Engineering team. You will analyze phased array radar systems, develop processing algorithms for tracking and imaging, and implement them in C++ on target hardware.

You will drive system-level requirements, perform trade studies with cross-functional teams, and support aircraft integration and flight testing. Experience with FMCW/Pulsed processing and FPGA/DSP is valuable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or related discipline.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with radar algorithms, radar system design, radar signal processing, integration and test.
• Ability to use C++, Matlab and Python (Python preferred).
• Ability to troubleshoot, find root cause, and resolve issues.
• Pulsed and FMCW processing algorithm development.
• Experience in airborne radar testing and development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze phased array radar systems and develop radar processing algorithms for short and long-range tracking and radar image generation.
• Design algorithms in Matlab/Python and implement in C++ on target hardware.
• Drive system-level requirements and trade studies with cross-functional teams.
• Support radar integration on aircraft and data collection during flight testing.
• Own real-time processing of radar algorithms on FPGA and DSP platforms.
