Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support repair of in-store Refrigeration HVAC equipment across local Walmart facilities. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, adherence to safety guidelines, and timely response to repair requests from stores and associates.

Ideal candidates bring extensive experience with large-scale rack refrigeration and EPA refrigerant handling certification.

Qualifications

10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
Type I/II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR.
18+ years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment using HVAC and Refrigeration skills and a variety of hand, digital, and power tools.
Utilize the work order system to receive and document repair work orders and support Stores and store associates.
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety and environmental guidelines.
Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
