Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking a skilled race support engineer to lead development, validation, and race support for Polaris Powersports programs. You will coordinate between race teams, engineering, suppliers, and partners to drive performance improvements and testing efficiency.

The role requires hands-on vehicle development, calibration support, data analysis, and field testing. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is expected; high-pressure race environments demanded.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum 3 years of mechanic, technician, race support, vehicle development, or related experience.
  • Two-year or four-year technical degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead vehicle development, validation, and race support activities for Polaris Powersports racing programs.
  • Support development and optimization of race-specific calibrations, including suspension, CVT, engine, and gauge systems.
  • Lead fabrication, assembly, and preparation of development vehicles and prototype components.
  • Organize and lead vehicle development and testing activities in field environments.
  • Serve as the technical liaison between race teams, engineering teams, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain vehicle instrumentation, telemetry systems, and data acquisition equipment.
