Job summary

Polaris Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Validation Engineer to lead validation planning and testing for snowmobile platforms, ensuring performance, reliability and durability across the development cycle.

You will define strategies with product, systems and test teams, execute lab and field tests, manage data integrity, and report results to leadership. Travel up to 10% and sponsorship is not provided. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in validation, testing, or product development engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; ability to learn data acquisition and processing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute DVP&R plans for snow vehicle programs.
• Define test procedures, pass/fail criteria, and equipment required to validate vehicle performance.
• Coordinate and execute component and vehicle-level validation activities with cross-functional teams.
• Establish reliability and durability test targets aligned with vehicle requirements.
• Lead validation processes to ensure performance, driveability, and certification requirements are achieved.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data using appropriate data acquisition and analytical tools.
• Ensure data integrity and technical accuracy across validation activities.
• Report validation status, results, and conclusions to projects and leadership.
• Support field testing, root cause analysis, and issue resolution activities.
• Improve existing and develop new testing methods and procedures as needed.
