Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of powersports vehicle systems from concept through production.

You will own subsystem development activities, establish requirements, and collaborate with program architects, product management, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure performance, quality, cost, and timing objectives. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of design engineering experience.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software; Creo preferred.
• Experience with FEA tools and Windchill is preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, and fit–finish evaluation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain subsystem and component requirements, specifications, DFMEAs, and DVP&Rs.
• Design and develop components that meet safety, quality, timing, and cost objectives.
• Lead supplier reviews and collaborate on product development.
