Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (Alabama) seeks a seasoned Program Risk and Opportunity Manager to lead risk across production and sustainment, guide EVMS and scheduling processes, and drive predictable results.

You will collaborate with matrixed PMs and IPTLs, communicate insights to partners, and travel up to 10% for program activities, requiring US citizenship and ability to obtain a clearance.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or 3 years with an advanced degree.
• Experience with program risk and opportunity (R&O) management processes.
• Experience with EVMS, EACs, and IMP/IMS.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance; US citizenship is required.
• US citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk and opportunity management across multiple life cycle phases including Production and Sustainment.
• Execute R&O reporting and analysis.
• Perform meaningful analysis and effective communication to drive predictable results.
• Regular interface with internal partners across the organization.
• Engage in cross-functional partnerships within a team of matrixed program managers, PIs, and IPTLs.
• Travel (domestic and international) for program-related activities (approximately 10%).
