Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior finance leader to drive EVMS and program cost controls for a portfolio with substantial annual revenue. You will oversee budgets, cost baselines, and EAC processes while delivering accurate forecasts and financial reporting to management.

You will coordinate quarterly estimates and present long-range and annual plans, partnering with program directors and the finance team to ensure timely, data-driven decisions. Strong leadership and tool proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field; 8+ years finance experience or 5+ with advanced degree.
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and EAC processes.
• Experience with financial forecasting including bookings, revenue, and cash.
• Experience with SAP APEX, RPlan, or EDIT+ or similar tools.
• U.S. citizenship or qualifying status required; access to program/contract restricted.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead EVMS efforts including budget baselines, cost collection, and performance analysis.
• Drive monthly cadence: budget changes, latest revised cost estimates, variance analysis.
• Coordinate quarterly Estimates at Complete.
• Develop and present Long Range Plans, Operating Plans, and forecasts.
• Analyze backlog, revenue, profit, and free cash flow metrics.
