Job summary

Baxter Healthcare Corporation is seeking a Project Manager, R&D to lead innovative connectivity projects from concept through execution. You will provide business and technical guidance, perform financial analysis, and negotiate internal agreements to support the mission of saving and sustaining lives.

You will manage multi-site teams, define strategies, monitor scope, and ensure risk is controlled while maintaining effective communication with collaborators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years of product lifecycle experience with 5+ years in project management on multi-site software/medical products.
• Experience leading teams with SAFe or Agile frameworks is a plus.
• R&D engineering background is beneficial; non-technical backgrounds may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for core team performance, schedule, budget commitments, and spend.
• Lead teams in defining project strategies, goals, scope, and controls.
• Interact with management across functions to ensure strong communications.
• Identify risks, formulate risk plans, and direct proactive risk responses.
• Anticipate and manage conflicts to reach mutually beneficial results.
• Guide the core team to continuous progress initiatives.
