Job summary

Baxter Healthcare is seeking a senior Project Manager, R&D, to lead innovative connectivity product projects from concept to execution. You will provide both business and technical guidance, manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional collaboration across sites, ensuring alignment with the mission to save and sustain lives.

The role demands a strong track record in product lifecycle and multi-site PM, experience with SAFe/Agile, and a PMP or Agile certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years in product lifecycle with 5+ years directing multi-site software/medical product projects; SAFe/Agile experience a plus.
• R&D Engineering background beneficial; non-technical candidates may be considered.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; PMP or Agile certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for core team performance, project schedule and execution, budget commitments, and spend.
• Lead the team in defining project strategies, goals, and ensure strict scope control.
• Maintain cross-functional communications across all management levels and teams.
• Identify risks, create risk plans, and guide proactive risk responses.
• Anticipate and resolve conflicts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Direct the core team to drive continuous progress initiatives.
