Nova Biomedical in Waltham, MA is seeking a Senior R&D Project Manager to lead cross-functional R&D projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence across multiple programs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a regulated environment, strong communication and leadership, and a degree in engineering or science (PMP/PRINCE2/Agile preferred). Hybrid work and a salary range of $90k–$110k are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Project Management experience in a regulated industry (Medical/Pharma preferred).
• Strong ability to build relationships across the business.
• Solid understanding of design control, stage-gate methodologies, and product life cycles.
• Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with budget management, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience producing written reports and presenting to management.
• Education: Degree in Engineering, Science, or Project Management; PMP/PRINCE2/Agile preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage new product development and sustaining engineering projects through full lifecycle.
• Establish schedules and budgets, prioritize tasks, and ensure deliverables for multiple projects.
• Collaborate with Product Management to drive R&D projects entering new product pipelines or supporting existing portfolios.
• Define project risks and mitigation plans; report outcomes to management and escalate as needed.
• Ensure adherence to Design Control and Stage Gate processes.
• Lead and facilitate Bio Ecosystem and Core Team Meetings to coordinate cross-functional efforts.
• Resolve resource allocation issues and set priorities to meet timeline and budget.
• Assist with R&D issues and escalate critical activities affecting approvals or launches.
