Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Senior R&D Program Manager to lead cross‑functional engineering programs. This role partners with senior leadership to define goals, manage scope, and deliver high‑impact RF/multi‑discipline solutions for defense, industrial, and public safety applications.

You will report to the VP of R&D, drive end‑to‑end execution, and mentor engineers in a hybrid schedule with three onsite days per week at our West Los Angeles, CA

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field plus 10+ years of experience in program management and/or engineering.
• Proven experience managing complex hardware/software wireless communications, networking, or electronic warfare programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program execution across the full engineering lifecycle from concept to productization.
• Own program scope, milestones, and deliverables across cross-functional teams (Systems, FPGA, Software, RF, Hardware, QA).
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration to resolve blockers and drive data-driven decisions.
• Track risks and dependencies; communicate impacts to R&D leadership.
• Prepare executive reports and dashboards; maintain project documentation (Confluence, JIRA).
• Hire, manage, and mentor engineers and program managers to support Silvus R&D growth.
