Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a Cleared Senior Manager in R&D for Nuclear Deterrent Realization and Sustainment, onsite at Sandia. You will lead the Nuclear Deterrence Realization and Sustainment Group (2230) and oversee seven key areas, ensuring safe, on-time delivery and continuous modernization of capabilities.

The role requires a STEM PhD/MS and a minimum of ten years of relevant experience, with five+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and advanced degree in a STEM field plus ten years of directly relevant experience.
• Five+ years of leadership/management experience.
• Active DOE Q clearance or equivalent with the ability to obtain Sigma 15 access.

Responsibilities

• Lead managers and staff across multiple technical domains to ensure delivery of Sandia products and services.
• Collaborate with NSE, NNSA, and external partners to anticipate and resolve challenges.
• Guide the group's portfolio and drive organizational health and performance.
• Onsite work as required by the role and security considerations.
