Job summary

Cook Inc - Bloomington is seeking a Senior Manager for Research and Development (Finance) to lead an interdisciplinary team in new product development for the iMRI division. You will drive strategy, governance, and budget alignment across product management, regulatory, quality, manufacturing and contract partners.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 10+ years of relevant experience, and strong leadership across cultures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 10+ years' relevant experience.
• Experience in a global environment across cultures and regions is preferred.
• Experience in project, program, and portfolio management in a complex new product development environment.
• Good working knowledge of medical device quality & regulatory systems.
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in product roadmap planning process ensuring divisional objectives are met by efficient use of budget and resources.
• Works in preparation, structuring and facilitation of program decision meetings and leadership forums.
• Improve governance processes and systems at the program level to reduce risks and improve delivery metrics.
• Facilitate use of global project management tools to ensure effective resource use and on-time delivery.
• Lead negotiations of engineering service agreements and statements of work with legal support.
• Fosters relationships with internal stakeholders for successful product development.
• Must interact professionally across levels of the global organization.
• Maintain Cook Quality System requirements and HR policies; support a respectful workplace culture.
• Team Management: mentoring, coaching, appraisals, and performance optimization.
