Job summary

Cook Medical’s Interventional MRI Division (iMRI) seeks a Senior Research and Development Manager to lead an interdisciplinary team focused on new product development in devices and software for the iMRI portfolio.

You will drive strategy, collaborate across product management, regulatory, quality, clinical affairs, manufacturing and contract organizations, and navigate a fast-paced environment with travel ~20% to support global programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Strong critical thinking, data literacy, and comfort with digital tools including AI and predictive analytics.
• Experience leading teams; 5+ years in a management/supervisory role is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in product roadmap planning to meet divisional objectives.
• Lead preparation and facilitation of program decision meetings for strategic investments.
• Improve governance processes to reduce risks and improve delivery metrics.
