Dow Industrial Solutions seeks a Senior R&D Leader based in Collegeville, PA, to guide a 13-person multidisciplinary team, focusing on the Cleaning Growth Platform and other DIS segments. The role blends leadership, safe lab operations, portfolio management, and cross-functional execution to deliver new products and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
• Strong commitment to safe operations and responsible research.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-site R&D team (13 FTEs) and set priorities.
• Develop and manage the Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and tech platforms.
• Ensure safe, compliant laboratory operations and EHS adherence.
• Translate strategy into research priorities, project charters, and execution plans.
• Oversee milestones, documentation, and removal of roadblocks.
• Champion IP strategies, including patent filings.
• Partner with global Product R&D, TS&D, Process R&D, EI&G R&D, Commercial, Marketing, and other functions.
• Engage external partners to support existing products and generate growth opportunities.
• Manage budgets, capital plans, and investments to grow capabilities.
