Job summary

Synopsys is seeking a highly experienced software engineer to design and optimize advanced interposer routing algorithms for multi-die systems. You will implement routing engines in modern C++ (C++14/17/20), apply graph theory and computational geometry, and help refactor legacy modules for performance and reusability.

You will collaborate with a globally distributed R&D team across the US, India, and Asia, provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, and contribute to the routing

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software development experience in production-quality tools (EDA/CAD/geometry domains).
  • Expert-level proficiency in modern C++ (C++14+), STL, templates, memory management, performance optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced interposer routing algorithms for multi-die systems, including signal routing and power/ground distribution.
  • Implement and optimize routing engines in modern C++ (C++14/17/20) with focus on performance and memory efficiency.
  • Apply graph theory and computational geometry to model routing constraints in 2.5D/3D chip architectures.
  • Refactor legacy routing modules to improve reusability and reduce technical debt.
  • Debug complex algorithmic issues and support deployments for application engineers.
  • Collaborate with globally distributed R&D teams to align on architecture and API design.
  • Provide technical guidance and code reviews to raise quality of the routing platform.
