Job summary

Cadence Design Systems in California seeks an R&D engineer to develop a multi-threaded and distributed physical synthesis core engine in Innovus Implementation System. The role requires collaboration with a highly motivated global R&D team.

The candidate will design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software for physical synthesis, working with product engineers and technical sales to deliver engineering solutions and help customers succeed.

Qualifications

• Strong problem solving skills with a technical mindset.
• C/C++ software development experience in a Linux environment.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; PhD track is a plus.
