Job summary

Synopsys Inc. is seeking a senior engineer to drive rapid PPA closure for high-performance designs. You will work across Advanced Node Methodology and R&D to optimize RTL2GDS flows using Fusion Compiler.

You will prototype solutions in TCL and Perl, align design requirements with DTCO and engine capabilities, and mentor peers while collaborating with foundry partners on next-generation nodes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on EDA product development and full-flow benchmarking experience.
• Experience with RTL2GDS flows including Synthesis, Place & Route, and physical verification.
• Strong TCL and Perl scripting with prototyping experience.
• Experience with advanced node technologies (2nm/1.4nm and below).

Responsibilities

• Deliver rapid PPA closure on high-performance designs using Fusion Compiler.
• Bridge design requirements, DTCO optimization, and EDA engine capabilities.
• Prototype quick solutions to validate and extend engine functionality with TCL/Perl.
• Collaborate with foundry partners to influence technical strategy.
• Analyze RTL2GDS flows and propose concrete algorithm or methodology changes.
• Lead benchmarking and tape-out validation for new methodologies.
