Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM seeks an experienced R&D Electronics Engineer to support legacy use control products and respond to URs/SFIs with weapon-systems colleagues.

The role requires working onsite 100% of the time, with occasional travel (<10%). Candidates must have a DOE Q clearance and a strong background in analog/digital electronics, testing, and system design. Salary ranges are disclosed below.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; five years of directly relevant experience.
• Active DOE Q security clearance to start.
• Experience with anomaly resolution including URs and SFIs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with weapon systems colleagues to respond to URs and SFIs.
• Provide technical support for legacy coded switches and CMS equipment.
• Work with Military Liaison and System partners to resolve PAL-related URs.
• Evaluate coded switches to support stockpile assessment.
• Assist in development of Component Assessment Reports (CARs).
