Job summary

You will lead electrical design activities, analyze architectures, and provide technical reviews while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
• Active DOE Q-level security clearance or equivalent DOD Top Secret level security clearance.
• Strong ability to define and review electrical design activities across systems.

Responsibilities

• Define, review, and represent electrical design activities across the system, including flight tests, laboratory tests, and system- and component-level testing.
• Support investigation and troubleshooting anomalies in multi-functional teams.
• Team with other design agencies to plan, execute, and analyze data from advanced experiments.
• Generate and provide technical reviews of procedures, processes, and reports.
• Analyze system and/or subsystem architectures.
• Develop detailed understanding of requirements and ensure maturation for electrical aspects.
• Provide technical consultation and analysis on critical design elements.
• Integrate and test system and subassemblies.
• Plan and execute testing for technical basis activities.
• Derive, reconcile, and track requirements.
• Present at technical design reviews and programmatic meetings.
• Represent Sandia on multi-organization project teams.
