Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking an experienced R&D S&E Electrical Engineer to support electrical system design, specifications, and interfaces on the W80-5 program. The role involves testing, analysis, and cross-agency collaboration on high-assurance hardware development.

The candidate will define design activities, troubleshoot anomalies, and present at design reviews while traveling up to 25% as required; on-site work is required 100% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and five years of directly relevant experience.
• Active DOE Q-level security clearance or equivalent DOD Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define, review, and represent electrical design activities across the system, including flight and lab tests.
• Support investigation and troubleshooting anomalies in multi-functional teams.
• Plan, execute, and analyze data from advanced experiments with other design agencies.
• Develop detailed understanding of requirements and ensure maturation for system components.
• Present at technical design reviews and programmatic meetings.
• Represent Sandia on multi-organization project teams.
