Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a leader to run daily operations at the Jamesville Quarry and Aggregate operation. You will guide safe, efficient production, build teams, and align with business goals.

The role requires strong leadership in a high-production quarry environment, with a focus on throughput, material quality, and cost efficiency, while maintaining accurate reports and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in aggregates, mining, or heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Knowledge of crushing, screening, and conveying systems.
• Ability to lead crews in high-production quarry environments.
• Ability to interpret production data, identify trends, and make real-time decisions.
• Strong safety standards understanding; MSHA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate plant operations in a quarry environment to meet production targets.
• Monitor and optimize crushing, screening, and conveying equipment; coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement for throughput, material quality, and cost efficiency.
• Maintain production, inventory, and shift reports; ensure MSHA compliance and company standards.
• Promote safety culture through inspections, training, and leadership by example.
• Guide plant personnel, fostering teamwork, accountability, and operational discipline.
