Job summary

Quantum Machines Ltd. is seeking an experienced Support Engineer with hands-on lab experience to support our global customers. You should own end-to-end support, understand customer experiments, and collaborate with remote teams to resolve complex software and hardware issues.

Applicants must have an MSc in experimental physics, strong Python skills, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset with excellent English communication. Occasional global travel and independent work are expected.

Qualifications

• MSc or equivalent in experimental physics is required.
• Proficiency in Python is essential.
• Experience working in a Linux environment is advantageous.

• Excellent verbal and written English skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support to global customers.
• Troubleshoot with customers to understand issues and identify root causes across experiments and setups.
• Work with R&D teams to solve issues and deliver long-term solutions.
• Propose practical workarounds and communicate them to users.
• Investigate recurring software and hardware issues and document resolutions.
• Maintain ongoing communication to ensure customer satisfaction and understanding.
