You will bridge physicists with the core software platform, enabling protocol design and integration into automation. Qualifications
- BS or higher in computer science, electrical/computer engineering, math, physics, or chemistry.
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong Python experience.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Experience in scientific computing, data analytics, quantum physics, or quantum computing.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, scientists, and other engineers to translate functional requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.
- Architect and build efficient, reliable, and maintainable back-end systems.
- Design and build tooling and core software for calibration, protocol development, experimentation, and automation of quantum processor operations.
- Write clean, well-documented code, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance.
