Job summary

Xanadu is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to ensure timely delivery of advanced quantum hardware versions within budget. You will drive the project lifecycle, coordinate across engineering teams, and own the DARPA QBI program.

The role supports remote work from the US with regular travel to Toronto. Responsibilities include master schedule ownership, risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment to prevent delays and ensure seamless integration across subsystems.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technical project/program management delivering complex hardware–software systems.
  • Experience delivering programs for US government entities such as DARPA, ARPA, NIST, etc.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Gantt, Critical Path Analysis) for hardware environments.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar budgets and complex technical supply chains.
  • Exceptional leadership with accountability and timeline adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the master program schedule ensuring milestones are met within budget.
  • Be the primary DARPA contact communicating progress and information.
  • Identify blockers and orchestrate rapid-response solutions to keep delivery on track.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure dependencies are managed and integration is on time.
  • Optimize resource allocation to support critical path items.
  • Drive process improvements to improve hardware deployment and validation workflows.
  • Perform ongoing system risk analysis and design recovery strategies.
