Job summary

Rigetti Computing seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive end-to-end delivery of complex quantum-system programs. You will coordinate researchers, hardware engineers and control teams, building roadmaps and ensuring on‑time deployments in a fast‑moving deep‑tech environment.

Responsibilities include leading cross‑functional execution, managing dependencies, and delivering scalable program practices while providing leadership visibility and clear status reports.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical/program management or systems engineering.
• Experience delivering complex multidisciplinary technology programs.
• Strong hardware+software system development lifecycle understanding.
• Proven ability to lead programs across multiple engineering teams.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, research-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs at the system level.
• Build and maintain program roadmaps, milestones, and integration schedules.
• Drive execution across multiple engineering teams and maintain alignment with priorities.
• Coordinate cross‑team work including quantum device fabrication, cryogenic and control hardware/software.
• Lead cross‑team integration planning for new quantum processor generations and deployments.
• Track readiness across hardware, firmware and software layers.
• Identify risks early and facilitate data‑driven decisions with leadership.
• Improve engineering planning, milestone tracking and program reporting.
