Placements24 is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of building projects in a hybrid work setting. You will be responsible for cost estimation, contract administration, financial reporting, and proactive risk management across the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 7 years of building project experience, with strong negotiation and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction field.
• Minimum 7 years of quantity surveying experience on building projects.
• Strong understanding of contract law and procurement methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
• Administer contracts, manage variations, claims and disputes.
• Monitor expenditure against budget and report financials.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress, valuations, and risks.
• Negotiate with clients, contractors and suppliers for favorable terms.
• Prepare final accounts and close projects commercially.
