Conrad Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction consultancy in the North East of England. You will take ownership of major energy and infrastructure projects, delivering robust commercial solutions and strong client relationships.

The role provides a competitive salary (£60,000–£70,000 depending on experience), exposure to renewables and infrastructure schemes, and long-term career development within an expanding project portfolio.

Formación

• Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Experience delivering pre- and post-contract QS services.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and client-facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Responsabilidades

• Provide full pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services on major energy and infrastructure projects.
• Manage project costs, budgets, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Prepare cost estimates, tender documentation and procurement strategies.
• Administer NEC contracts and manage valuations, variations, final accounts.
• Identify commercial risks and implement cost management strategies.
• Develop relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior members of the commercial team.
