Job summary

Leo Force is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major construction project in South Wales. You will lead the commercial and financial control, managing procurement, tendering, contracts (NEC), variations and final accounts to keep the project on track and protect margins.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, senior-level experience on large (£100m+), civil/industrial projects, and strong NEC contract knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience on more than £100m projects.
• Background in civil engineering / industrial projects (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Experience in construction management environments.

Responsibilities

• Managing procurement and tendering for subcontract packages.
• Overseeing contracts (NEC), variations, and final accounts.
• Cost control: analyzing labour, materials, plant costs.
• Working closely with the client’s procurement team.
• Reducing financial risk while maximising project value.
