Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support a data center project in Saint Francisville, LA. You will manage all commercial and contractual aspects, ensuring projects stay within budget while maximizing profitability and compliance with contract requirements.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to control costs, assess risks, and drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field.
• 5+ years' quantity surveying, construction cost management, or commercial project experience.
• Experience with engineering, construction, infrastructure, industrial, or manufacturing projects.
• Experience reviewing contracts, change orders, and project financials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and project cost management software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for projects.
• Review, interpret, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and purchase agreements.
• Prepare and manage change orders, claims, and contract variations.
• Develop and maintain project cost reports and commercial dashboards.
• Assist with risk assessments and forecasting activities.
• Support procurement and bid evaluation to achieve value and quality objectives.
