Senior Quantity Surveyor

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Southampton. The business has grown from strength to strength in recent years, having recently secured a place on several local and frameworks and as a result, picking up new schemes in the region. Projects are across the commercial, education, healthcare and extra care sectors with projects valuing up to £75mil.

About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor:

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through to final account, reporting into the Commercial Manager. You may also be working with a more junior Surveyor.

Key responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor:

• Involvement in pre-construction activities
• Sub-contract procurement
• Managing sub-contract packages
• Client valuations
• Dealing with sub-contractor variations
• Final accounts

Key requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:

• Hold a HNC /Construction related degree
• Proven track record of managing projects from pre-construction through to final account
• Experience managing projects valuing up to £20mil
• Experience administering JCT / NEC forms of contract
• Experience working on framework schemes
• Full right to work in the UK
