Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Quantity and Progress Tracking Project Controls Professional for a site-based assignment in Spartanburg, SC or Baton Rouge, LA, with future on-site work across the U.S. This role focuses on accurate progress tracking, quantity reporting, and robust project controls for large industrial projects.

The team supports field execution, with expertise in EVM, earned quantities, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project controls, construction progress tracking, quantity surveying, cost controls or related field.
• Experience tracking installed quantities and progress on large industrial/infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing, field execution practices, and progress validation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the project quantity database.
• Track quantity growth, scope changes, and progress trends.
• Define measurable progress quantities and percent-complete criteria for Construction.
• Collect, validate, and track installed quantities to measure progress.
• Review contractor-reported progress against field conditions and quantities.
• Conduct field walkdowns to validate progress and installed work.
• Calculate earned quantities, earned progress, and percent complete for reporting.
• Monitor planned vs. actual quantities, progress performance, and productivity trends.
• Track completed quantities against invoices and support progress payments.
• Maintain progress reporting tools, databases, and Power BI dashboards.
