Job summary

Jacobs is looking for a Senior Quantity and Progress Tracking Project Controls Professional to support site-based work in Spartanburg, SC or Baton Rouge, LA, with future on-site work across the U.S. This role centers on accurate progress tracking, earned value management, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

You will lead a project controls team, validate contractor progress, and maintain databases and dashboards while collaborating with construction teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project controls or related fields.
• Experience tracking progress on large industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Understanding earned value management and progress measurement.
• Ability to analyze planned vs. actual progress and variances.
• Experience supporting weekly and monthly project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the project quantity database.
• Track quantity growth, scope changes, and quantity trends.
• Define progress quantities and percent-complete criteria.
• Collect, validate, and track installed quantities to measure progress.
• Review contractor-reported progress against field conditions.
• Conduct field walkdowns to validate progress and installed work.
• Calculate earned quantities, earned progress, and percent complete.
• Monitor planned vs. actual quantities and productivity trends.
• Track quantities against invoices and support progress payment validation.
• Maintain reporting tools, databases, and Power BI dashboards.
