Job summary

Ally is seeking a Senior Analytics Analyst to deliver complex analyses and develop statistical models for consumer products across Ally Bank. You will lead analysis projects and collaborate with Marketing, Product, Ecommerce, Finance, and Balance Sheet Management to drive opportunity analysis and solution delivery.

The role focuses on forecast modeling, price elasticity estimation, marketing experiments, and segmentation analyses, with production support and data extraction from multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or similar quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of analytics experience.
• Strong database/SQL and Python programming skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently to develop creative quantitative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build statistical models and conduct quantitative analysis to support Ally's Automotive Loan and Lease business.
• Develop forecasting models, elasticity estimates, and marketing experiments.
• Extract and manage data for model development from internal and external sources.
• Monitor performance of models in production and update as needed.
• Evaluate third-party data and credit scoring models for internal use.
• Support Model Risk Management validation processes for models owned by the team.
