Ally Financial in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Analytics Analyst to deliver complex analyses and build statistical models for consumer products. You will lead analysis projects and collaborate with Marketing, Product, Ecommerce, Finance, and Balance Sheet Management to drive pricing, segmentation, CRM targeting, and marketing measurement initiatives.

You will extract data for model development, monitor models in production, and support model validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, or similar quantitative field, advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of analytics experience
• Strong database/SQL and Python programming skills required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently to develop creative quantitative solutions
• 3+ years of experience
• High school Diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

• Build statistical models and conduct quantitative analysis to support Ally's automotive loan and lease business
• Lead analysis projects and model development for consumer products across Ally
• Extract and manage data for model development from internal and external databases
• Monitor performance and support existing models in production
• Help evaluate third-party data and credit scoring models for internal use
• Support Model Risk Management validation for models owned by your team
