Job summary

Clayens Group in Loveland, CO is seeking a Quality Technician Level III to perform mechanical and dimensional inspections of injection molded parts, using CMMs, surface plates, and hand tools. You will create nonconforming reports and support MRB actions while ensuring compliance with ISO9001 quality systems.

The role requires reading blueprints, GD&T interpretation, and the ability to communicate findings with production teams.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, sketches, specifications and technical materials.
• Operate CMMs (Calypso) and precision inspection equipment.
• Interpret GD&T print tolerancing.
• Create and review SOPs and QMS documentation.
• Assist with PPAPs, FMEAs, and FA inspections.

Responsibilities

• Discard or reject products not meeting specifications.
• Analyze drawings to determine conformance to requirements.
• Notify supervisors of production problems and assist in corrective actions.
• Provide dimensional reporting interpretation to CNC and production teams.
• Operate CMMs during production, startup, and inspections.
• Discuss inspection results with responsible personnel.
• Mark items with grade and status.
• Observe production operations for conformance and adjust as needed.
• Measure dimensions using calibrated instruments and software.
• Develop inspection plans and perform internal audits.
• Identify nonconformances and scrap reduction opportunities.
