Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications and technical materials.
• Two years of production knowledge in manufacturing.
• Work well in a team environment with coworkers.
• Use hand-held measuring devices and basic measuring instruments.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Background in ISO9001 or similar quality systems preferred.
• proficiency with Windows and MS Office.
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
• Analyze and interpret drawings, data, manuals and other materials to determine inspection procedures and tools.
• Notify supervisors of production problems and assist in corrective actions.
• Discuss inspection results with product owners and relevant staff.
• Mark items with grade and acceptance or rejection status.
• Observe and monitor production operations to ensure conformance to specs and adjust processes as needed.
• Measure dimensions with calipers or micrometers to verify specifications.
• Perform duties with little or no supervision.
