Job summary

Rimeco Products, Inc. in Willoughby, Ohio is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector II to perform dimensional and visual inspection of precision-machined components. You will work with Quality, Milling, Turning, and other departments to ensure parts meet drawings and customer requirements.

The role requires strong understanding of GD&T, inspection equipment, and quality documentation. Familiarity with CMM or Keyence systems and ERP software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience using common precision measuring equipment and inspection software.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection of precision-machined components.
• Interpret drawings, specs, tolerances and GD&T requirements.
• Utilize standard inspection equipment and precision instruments.
• Perform basic programming and operation of a CMM and/or Keyence equipment.
• Assist with gage calibration and calibration records.
• Complete Certificates of Conformance and inspection documentation.
• Prepare documentation for First Article Inspection Reports.
• Initiate and document NCRs, customer/vendor returns as needed.
• Support Quality Manager with internal audits and QMS activities.
• Communicate inspection findings with Quality Manager and shop personnel.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
