Job summary

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine inspection criteria.
• Proficient with CMMs and Calypso software for in-process and final inspection.
• Interpret GD&T symbols and tolerance analyses to verify conformance to drawings.
• Collaborate with production, QA, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Discard or reject nonconforming products or materials.
• Interpret drawings and data to determine conformance to customer requirements.
• Notify supervisors of production problems and assist in corrective actions.
• Provide dimensional reports and feedback to CNC technicians.
• Operate CMMs and inspection equipment during production and startup.
• Create and review SOPs and QMS documentation.
• Participate in internal audits and PPAPs as needed.
