Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related technical field.
• 8+ years of full-time experience in Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, or Process Engineering in consumer goods/pharma/food sectors.
• Hands-on plant trials, scale-ups, or technology transfers from lab to manufacturing.
• Formulation knowledge in Oral Care, Personal Care, or Home Care.
• Strong analytical reasoning and project management for multi-site scale-ups and investigations.
• Experience managing external suppliers and contract manufacturers, including audits.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams (Operations, R&D, Quality).
• Working knowledge of cGMPs and FDA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Plant Operations to embed Quality in design.
• Provide day-to-day technical mentorship to Quality Tech Engineers at plants.
• Develop timelines with Network Operations for major projects and launches.
• Manage end-to-end quality relationships with Contract Manufacturers and co-packers; approvals and audits.
• Serve as escalation point for complex scale-up roadblocks with formulation expertise.
• Drive Right First Time initiatives to ensure robust tech transfers and reduce waste.
• Oversee investigations for consumer/customer complaints related to formula or deviations.
• Drive continuous improvement and data-driven risk management across category.
• Champion adoption of AI tools and analytics to modernize transfer workflows.
