Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a seasoned Quality Technical Manager to lead end-to-end quality strategy for a dedicated product category across North America. You will partner with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Network Operations to ensure designs are manufacturable and scalable, supervising the transfer pipeline and external vendor QA relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• 8+ years in Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, or Process Engineering in FMCG/pharma/food & beverage.
• Experience leading plant trials or tech transfers from lab to manufacturing.
• Formula knowledge in Oral/Personal/Home care categories.
• Strong analytical and project management skills across multi-site scale-ups.
• Experience auditing suppliers and managing external contract manufacturers.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary liaison among R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain and Plant Ops to embed Quality early in product design.
• Provide mentorship for Quality Engineers at plants and prioritize tasks.
• Develop timelines with Network Operations for product launches and major projects.
• Manage Quality relationship with Contract Manufacturers and Co-packers; qualify, standardize, audit, and approve releases.
• Escalate technical issues and guide cross-functional teams through scale-up challenges.
• Drive Right First Time initiatives to ensure robust technology transfers and minimize waste.
• Investigate and resolve consumer/product complaints related to formulation or manufacturing deviations.
• Lead continuous improvement and data-driven risk management across the category.
• Champion adoption of AI tools to predict quality trends and modernize tech transfer workflows.
