nVent is seeking a Senior Quality Supervisor for Receiving Inspection in Anoka, MN. The role leaders a team of Quality Technicians, ensuring incoming materials meet specs and coordinating with production.

You will refine inspection plans, train staff, and drive continuous improvement using lean, Six Sigma, and ISO 9001 standards. The position emphasizes collaboration with suppliers, containment and disposition of NCRs, and developing standardized work.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Progressive quality experience in a manufacturing environment with leadership in receiving inspection, supplier quality, or quality operations.
• Experience leading, coaching, developing, and training Quality Technicians or similar teams.
• Understanding of receiving inspection methodologies, GD&T, blueprint reading, metrology equipment, and inspection technologies.
• Experience developing standardized inspection plans, inspection instructions, and standardized work.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools including Root Cause Analysis, Control Plans, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO 9001.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Technicians in Receiving Inspection.
• Develop and improve inspection protocols and methods for incoming materials across product lines.
• Ensure materials are inspected and released to support production schedules while maintaining quality.
• Train Technicians in inspection methods, measurement instruments, and certification requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and throughput with lean and automation.
• Lead supplier quality investigations and CAPA activities with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor NCRs and trends to drive corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
