Job summary

Klein Tools is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to lead quality engineering across Mansfield manufacturing locations. You will drive flawless product launches, reduce scrap, and improve process capability while supporting warranty and Amazon ratings improvement programs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, seven years of manufacturing quality experience, and three years of supervisory experience. You will lead PFMEAs, control plans, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
Seven years of related manufacturing quality experience.
Three years of supervisory/management experience.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, TS 16949; Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
Strong planning, organization, leadership, presentation, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the Quality strategy for Mansfield manufacturing facilities.
Support warranty reduction and Amazon ratings improvement programs related to Mansfield manufactured product.
Drive processes and activities that support the goal of flawless launches of new programs.
Work with production personnel and plant management to analyze and solve problems to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control standards and tests used in processing finished products.
Lead development of PFMEAs, control plans, and flow diagrams during APQP process, using a team approach.
Investigate customer concerns regarding quality.
Design and implement quality control training programs.
Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams.
Ensure effectiveness of the quality system through internal and external audits and performance measures.
Support International quality projects as needed.
Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work.
